Healing Care Group @ First Presbyterian Church

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”  - Matthew 11:28

First Presbyterian Church is hosting a small group ministry called Healing Care Group.  The purpose of this ministry is to offer individuals a safe place to heal from the deep wounds we receive from living in a broken world, and the effects these wounds have had on our lives.  Every person can benefit from participating in the Healing Care Group, and this ministry may especially be for you if you struggle in any of these areas:

 * Experiencing God’s Love     * Knowing Your True Identity in Christ

* Loving God, Yourself, and Others       * Sinful Behaviors

 * Negative Thinking  * Feeling Stuck in your relationship with God

Healing Care Group is a 12 week small group experience.

It is a small group ministry that integrates formational prayer (a ministry of the Holy Spirit moving through a Christian facilitator) and positions you to meet Jesus in places of brokenness.  Each session lasts about 2 ½ hours. It also includes one retreat to be held September 22nd -- 23rd.  Participants receive their own workbook and two text books. Each meeting includes teaching materials on the session topic, an activity centered on the topic, and a healing prayer time. Our groups are led by a team of trained and skilled caregivers.

Group will begin Monday, August 28th, 6:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church

Participation is limited; the group will be filled on a first come basis.  The cost is $150 per participant for non-church members, $125 per participant for church members, or $100 for ATS students.  A $50 deposit is required to receive participant materials prior to the first meeting.  Scholarships and Payment plans may be available.
